Our steadfast stewardship and legacy in resource management creates opportunity in Montana forests. Montana has high quality wood with outstanding visual and structural qualities. As forest managers, we also struggle with an over-abundance of small-diameter trees, creating unnaturally high forest fire fuel loads and tree crowding that leads to poor growth with insect and disease outbreaks. The solution?
Use Montana small trees to produce large format mass timber.
